Claim EDI

"Claim EDI" reads claim data from ANSI 837 files (both Professional and Institutional Claims), loads the claim data into an Access database for intermediate storage. The EDI analyst can perform various validation processes to check the incoming data. Once the claims data has been deemed acceptable for inload, the program will load the claim data directly into the appropriate tables in the PCM database.

Fee Schedule Loader

The "ABCT Fee Schedule Loader" allows the creation of fee schedules in PCM from Excel Spreadsheets. The fee schedules are imported into the program, filtered and modified according to the users selections, and then exported into a PCM Fee Schedule.

ABCT Pricer

The ABCT Pricer program is used to price Institutional/Hospital claims in PCM using CMS pricing procedures. The program uses automation to run the standard CMS Pricer applications, and grabs the resulting data from them to price and update the claims in PCM. Currently, the program will price Inpatient, Psych, SNF and Home Health claims.

The APC Pricer Program (Ambulatory Payment Classification) is a complete system for editing and calculating reimbursement of hospital outpatient procedures based on the CMS Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS). Pricing for claims is done via batch mode automation using the third party application Encoder-Plus for 95/XP^TM by Micro-Dyn Medical Systems, Inc. The results from the Encoder-Plus application are updated into the claims in PCM. (Separate purchase of Encoder Plus is required for use of this application.)
