Marlin Larsen, Ph.D., BLD
Dr. Larsen is an entrepreneur & strategist, and is dedicated to bringing quality
medical services to rural communities. He’s also a private pilot, avid fisherman,
and sailor.
With nearly 40 years of service in the medical management field, Dr. Larsen is responsible
for the formation and launch of numerous medical, dental and real estate joint ventures,
providing assistance with business plan formation, startup capitalization, project
financing, equipment acquisition, staff/management recruiting and other areas of
management support.
Education:
Ph.D., in Physical Chemistry from Washington State University
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics with a minor in Physics
Chief Executive Officer
Knut Torvik
Mr. Torvik joined ABCT in 2008 as Vice President, Property Management and Contracts
Administration and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2010. Knut has over
20 years of business experience in multiple industries, including energy trading,
management consulting, healthcare and aerospace. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird
School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration rom Pacific
Lutheran University.
Knut enjoys travel, hiking and skiing, is a member of Rotary International and serves
on the Roseburg Planning Commission
Chief Financial Officer
Sue S. Goldberg
Mrs. Goldberg came to work with ABCT, Inc. in 2000 after working in public accounting
for a local CPA firm for over 5 years. She attended school in Eugene at Lane Community
College with emphasis in accounting and business law. In Eugene, she worked as an
accountant for a group of companies for 14 years in the banking and leasing industry
before relocating in the Douglas County area. In 2004 she was promoted to her current
position as Chief Financial Officer.
Chief Operating Officer
Michele Torvik
Ms. Torvik joined ABCT in 2008 as Vice President of Marketing and Development in
after working as a consultant for a global energy company, and was promoted to Chief
Operating Officer in 2010. Michele has over 20 years of business experience in marketing
and operations in insurance, technology, energy and healthcare management. She holds
an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration
from Pacific Lutheran University.
Michele is a member of Rotary International and Girl Scouts of America, and volunteers
for non-profits benefiting children and cancer research.
Director of Mobile Operations
Danyell White
Ms. White joined ABCT in 1999 supporting the operations of mobile medical services,
and was promoted to Director of Mobile Operations in 2009. Danyell’s responsibilities
include managing the day-to-day operations of multiple entities providing shared
medical services throughout the Pacific Northwest...including mobile Lithotripsy,
PET Imaging, MRI, and medical lasers. Danyell is also involved in business development
and research of new equipment and business services.

ABCT is a licensed third party administrator with the State of Oregon Insurance
Division. The billing staff, including certified professional coders, specializes
in collection and patient account services, with ongoing education to assure optimal
coding compliance.
