Administrator/President

Marlin Larsen, Ph.D., BLD

30+ Years of Experience

Education:
Ph.D., in Physical Chemistry from Washington State University
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics with a minor in Physics

With 37 years of service in the medical management field, Dr. Larsen has a wealth of knowledge in the many intricacies involved with managing multiple medical companies.  He is responsible for the formation and ongoing administration of numerous medical and dental joint ventures.  This included providing assistance with business plan formation, startup capitalization, equipment or project financing up to $5 million, equipment acquisition, staff/management recruiting and other areas of management support as needed. 

Dr. Larsen has been involved in the formation of several Outpatient Surgery Centers, Mobile Diagnostic Services including CT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and Lithotripsy.  Since 1994, this has involved the formation of 8 Dental LLCs, a Dental Insurance Company, a Medical Lab, Imaging, and Medical Office leasing and real estate development.  Dr. Larsen has established a number of physician and dental joint ventures (LLCs, etc.) and has prepared three Certificates of Need and four successful competitive applications for contracts to the State OMAP division.

Ronald R. Preston

In addition to Mr. Preston’s 30+ years and extensive background in financial and banking administration, he also has experience with both OHP medical and commercial medical insurance.  Since September 1997, Ron has been responsible for the vision and leadership of Douglas County Individual Practice Association (DCIPA), including contracting with insurance companies and physicians to provide the panel for health plans.

Ron is also involved in numerous medical and healthcare related Boards and Foundations in the Douglas County area, as well as community and economic development organizations in Coos, Curry and Douglas Counties.

Sue S. Goldberg

16+ Years of Experience

Mrs. Goldberg came to work with ABCT, Inc. in 2000 after working in public accounting for a local CPA firm for over 5 years. She attended school in Eugene at Lane Community College with emphasis in accounting and business law. In Eugene, she worked as an accountant for a group of companies for 14 years in the banking and leasing industry before relocating in the Douglas County area. In 2004 she was promoted to her current position as CFO of ABCT, Inc.

Administrative Assistant

Richelle Gibbons

Ms. Gibbons came to work for ABCT in 1998 in the Administrative Services department.  Richelle has over 12 years of experience in areas of Healthcare Services and Administrative Support.  Richelle’s responsibilities as Executive Assistant to the ABCT, Inc. President include direct administrative support to the President, CEO and CFO of ABCT.  She also supervises and oversees the administration department staff regarding all correspondence and communications, contract and lease administration, and new business development.
